How is it even possible, really?
I've ridden in the rain, snow, ice on the road (yeah, not fun), salt on the road, the mud and even on sunny days. Just don't tell the people on Craigslist. Ok, I admit, I haven't ridden through a wall of flames either. Sorry Phil.

When I first started riding a bike, I wouldn't take my bike if rain was forecast. Had so many times that it didn't rain, that I stopped doing that. I check the radar in the morning. If a massive storm is coming, I take the car. If just scattered storms, I take the bike.
If I have a trip planned, I go, even if a heavy rain. Sometimes it gets so heavy I regret it, because it gets hard to see, and hard to be seen. Last summer I thought I'll just pull over if it gets bad, but then there was no where to pull over except soft shoulder, which I didn't want to try.
This is a screen shot of my ride. I don't recommend riding in the red.

I think there are lots of riders in WI who only ride on days with no chance of rain, and over 70. That is how you get 8 year old bikes with 2k miles on them. Like mine was when I bought it. It was probably never in the rain.
Sorry, you cannot download the Rockies to your iPhone and use them in the same way I do.
