It does happen, those guys are out there. A co worker bought a Z28 in 98, the few times he brought it to work it went home if there was even of a threat of rain, same with the C6 Vette he got later and same with the Metric cruiser he had. dude was always quoting 0-60 mag times, he was a total Dweeb.

Water spots from washing and grime build up from rain rides are clearly different.

Yep. There will be a haze and grit in areas even the most meticulous bike washer usually misses.

52k on my bike and probably 10k in the rain...ain't a clean spot on my undercarriage. Zero f*cks given. I bought it to ride it and I ride it as much as possible, rain or shine.
