This has been some great gear at a great price. Two years ago I purchased a $90.00 Xelement mesh armored jacket #CF5000. I have worn it almost every day as I commute on my bike. The jacket has held up nicely and still has more years left on it. For the price it is well made and not cheap. My only complaint is the metal snap buttons rust easily.
Since their jacket is well made I purchased a set of Impact Biker Boots #1506-Impact. The boots are even better made that the jacket with thick leather and triple stitching. Great fit and finish with no cement glue crap. The Goodyear soles are actually screwed into the shank if you wear them out and only need to replace the soles. The great part is like the jacket the price was very reasonable at around $65.00 on Amazon.
If you are looking for good gear that doesn't break the bank account then I suggest trying the brand. If their other products are as nice and well made as the ones I have tried than I will continue to order more gear from the company. Hope this helps.
I'll second that. I have an XElement leather jacket with removable armor as well as some mesh gloves. Their gear is great, but the sizing is an absolute nightmare.
I second Xelement gear. I brought a pair of boots off Leatherup.com and from day 1 they have been comfortable, no need for breaking in, great riding boot and fanastic price
I bought a pair of their boots a couple years ago. I wear my boots every day all day long and these boots have destroyed my feet. I now have plantar fascitis (sorry, don't know how to spell it) from wearing them. About 6 months ago, I replaced them with a HD boot and my feet have almost recovered. I will never again wear a cheap boot.
Yup. The quality far exceeds the price. I have bought several pairs of boots, several jackets, vests, chaps there. All have held up well. I always buy at or near the top end of their line, so I can't vouch for their real cheap stuff.

I have had HD boots (older style) made in USA and great boots. Quit buying their crap made in China junk long ago. Not trying to bust your chops but if the boots bothered your feet why did you continue to wear them? I myself only buy quality made in USA boots with the latest Chippewa I picked up from Fox Creek where I got one of their jackets and chaps. Good luck with whatever anyone wishes to buy. We are all big boys and girls and free to spend our money however we see fit.
Should be receiving my Xelement Impact boots today from FedEx...Hope they are what I'm expecting!
I did recently buy a pair of HD Camshaft boots, liked them alot buy then the inside material started to break up by the back of the heel area. Ended up taking em back. Hoping the X boots have a similar look to them...

Well, I buy 1 pair of boots each year. That particular year I had little money so I bought these cheap boots. It was about 6 months before my feet started hurting and I didn't suspect the boots initially. They were still in very good condition. Still are. Barley 1/2 worn. I replaced them as soon as I could afford to.
I had worn an HD boot from China each year for about 15 years until they were no longer available. That's when I had to start looking for something else. I first tried Carolina boot made here in the USA. Worst boot ever. Only lasted about 6 months. That's when I tried the Exelement boot. HD boots made in China are excellent but these aren't.
