To save space I have seen the video on how to fold the chaps. But my leather jacket always turns out bulky and never space saving. How do you fold yours when packing it?
I hang mine on a sturdy hanger. If I did fold it, I do it like a long sleeve T-shirt except for folding it in half, top to bottom. Maybe side to side. But I do fold my chaps.
I'm not looking for closet space.. Or keeping it pretty.. My intentions were to find a clever way to fold a leather jacket to save space in my saddle bags..
At first I did what everyone is saying.. I stuffed both my chaps and jacket wherever it would fit.. I then learned how to roll chaps so they are tight and they snap back together so they don't unroll at any time during the trip.. Not to mention the space I saved in the saddlebag..
