For those with ABS

They want $800.00 for it. Is it worth it?

You are going to get varying opinions on this. Bottom line, I can't tell mine is there unless I need it, so I'm in the "yes" camp.

Probably get an insurance discount (also alarm) and re-sale will be much better.

I think that's the problem, I'm cheap and have never had a bike with ABS but also have no way to compare.

I never thought it was a big deal until this spring. I was passing a car that was in the right turn lane when he suddenly did a U-Turn right in front of me. I grabbed all of both brakes as hard as I could. If not for ABS, I'm certain I would have been seriously hurt or worse. I am now a believer.

best reason it will save your a$$ if you ride your bike at all.
if you don't need it a bike without will be a tough resell.
i hope you never need it but you could wreck once , slide crazy once ,stay up late once worrying about it etc get it
