man this is some fuknny sh%% what makes a bad *** biker riding more than 2000 miles, a guy can`t just enjoy owning his bike and riding it around the block once in awhile, does he have to be a doo wearing chap wearing, beer drinkin, mulet hair cut to be considered a bad *** biker, my buddy is a ultimate fighting chapion in heavy weight division, and prob, puts 1000 miles on a 75,000 dollor chopper, guess he is a fruity biker, anyone want to call him that,,

The advantage of trailing is that you can bring alot of stuff with you and take much more stuff home. I personally trailer because I have some medical problems. I would love to get on my bike and ride 1200 miles but it would take me about 4 days to do it. If that is an excuse then there it is. It gives those who can't ride long distances in a short period of time the ability to attend some of these rallies. I love my trailer because without it I would have not been able to see some of these beautiful places on my motorcycle.

If that makes mesomething less than a human beingin your mind then you must be very narrow minded.

Oh by the way I have a 04 Road King Custom and an 97 Street Glide.

Love to ride them, they are very comfortable but can only do about 350 miles a day.

Actually, based on your own description of your UFC Champion friend...I wouldn't call him a biker period.

And what are you, the ultimate biker? Does calling people pussies make you feel likeabad ***? It's sad how some people have thisneed to portray themselves as a tough guy. Playing the role.Who are you trying to convince that you are what a biker is supposed to be anyway? Yourself, I think, because no one else cares. What you are saying here is, "I'm a real biker, you're not"
So, weren't your leathers, patches and pins new at one time? Or being the consumate biker that you are did they become worn the instant you put them on?

I could care less if somebody trailers over a long distance, provided they don't talk about how manly they were on their cross country trek.

On the other hand, if I had a bike that I couldn't ride over 100 miles at one time, I would sell the damn thing. That to me, sounds like somebody that bought for the image as opposed to the riding.

I have one patch, and it IS brand new. It is a PGR patch. I don't wear leather. The only chrome on my bike was put there by the good folks that put my bike together.

I do enjoy my AC when the ride is over, and having a nice meal on top of that. The shower is pretty cool too. Sleeping in that queen size bed isn't bad either. Gotta' love the toyhauler. I am one comfortable ***** when all is said and done.

I read all 4 pages of this crap. So what if I trailer. When I go to a Daytona from Ohio I don't want to spend 2 days and a night at a hotel to get there. Staight shot , 2 drivers,1 day,end of story. I then sleep in my trailer the week I'm there. I guess I'm a trailer pu$$y.
The entire purpose of the thread has been missed by half of the pro-trailer crowd. It was supposed to be an opportunity for those that trailer to give their perspective, not necessarily to get angry. There have been many non-angry pro-trailer responses. To those people I say thanks for your views.

To the over aggresive, too much anger, pro-trailer responses, I say why read the thread. If it bothers you to that point, just go to the other 500 threads that are available to you. I am not trying to change you, just trying to understand your view on trailering. I admit, the thread title could have been toned down. That's just my sense of humor. I have guys I work with that I call trailer queens all the time. They just laugh and don't take it so personally. Guys are always busting other guys *****. Why should it be different here?

jbnl163, I don't see any anger in my post ? Not mad at all . I can care less what a want-to-be biker thinks of me. The over tones of the posts is trailer queens don't ride . That couldn't be father from the truth. I live up north ,we have a 7 month riding period . I logged 13,000 miles last year between 3 bikes . I have read a lot of the other 500 threads when it's raining here. There are some die hard long distance guys out there but for the most part 1/2 the show quality bikes I see posted under members posts would not be the right tool for the job on a 1000 mile a day trip .
