Yep, the car dealer. You can't imagine how many times I wanted to go and napalm the Inverness country club while he was there throwin back a couple Stoli's. Definitely Mr. Control Freak!
First gear also makes these over pants in a mesh version. Might be a little cooler for those of you wearing them to cover your work pants. Not water proof though!
I've been considering the Mesh ones for my commute. I wear full gear (including chaps) while commuting at all times. Since I have to wear slacks or other buisness casual attire I like having someting over the thin material. -- No I don't wear skirts on the bike 0

I have both types and really like them. Ive worn the HT Overpants in the rain and they are great. I took the waterpfoof liner out of my mesh pants and jacket, but both of them together roll up into a large ziplock bag and stay in the saddle bag.
I've worn my mesh jack in the rain, its kinda weird because jacket will be soaked, but with the liner I stay dry. I imagine the pants are the same.
I'm not sure how much protection the mesh gear will be if i have a "git-off" at speed though..hope I don't have to find out

Our daughters were in dance class together. I met his wife, but never met him.
You're a bit too young for his daughters and yours. You're probably thinking of his son Kevin, he was OK but didn't have the spine to stand up to pops. He and Donna live by Charlestowne mall, that would put you guys in the same area regarding kid's activities. Ed lives in Barrington Hills when he's not in Palm Springs.
