Every vehicle (motorcyle, car, truck, boat) I've ever owned the manufacturer has recommended themselves for routine maintenance. Not anything wrong with that really.
While under warranty, I let them do it. That way if something gets messed up they can't have any reason to complain. Of course all dealers are different and your mileage may vary.
