Assuming it had reasonable mileage I'd buy that bike. You shouldn't put down his new bike...he paid a lot of hard earned money for it and he's finally got a Harley - didn't you mention he's your friend too?
BUT most importantly = it's GREEN- what more could ya ask for...
Green bikes are OK I guess, if you go for that sort of thing.
