I am a right lane driver, if i need to go down better on grass the blacktop, been there done that, being washed with a brillo pad to remove pebbles is no fun...and I don't understand the " left lane is less dangerous" statement.....the only time I move to the middle lane is when I come upon an entrance ramp, then move swiftly back to the right lane. I ride a tourer to see not for speed, of I wanted that i'd buy a sports car.

In PA, it's right lane except to pass. But you can't go more than a few miles without someone camping in the left lane. What REALLY ticks me off is the lane blockers, who will go 1 mph faster than the right lane traffic and not move over so you can pass. Infuriating.

I don't like passing on the right when on my bike, when I do I've got my thumb resting on the horn button.

We all wish that current LEO would help fix Idiots like that,, but evidently traffic concerns only exist after an accident or within 1 mile of a closing bar where the highest probability of successful prosecution exists!

On every forum I go to, left lane driving makes more peoples blood boil than any other topic, including politics and killing baby seals and stuff. They were doing 70mph in the left lane, what is the speed limit there??? If it is 70mph or less, who cares??? if everyone else around them wants to speed and break the law they can do it in another lane. If the speed limit was more than 70mph they should move over.
Damn people, slow down , stop and smell the flowers, enjoy life, get over being left lane *****.

I agree- if I'm in the left lane, I'm going with the flow of traffic if not slightly beyond to maintain fair distance to my six o'clock.
Sounds like the observed bikers were operating beyond their ability, or playing like cruisers in cars that drive slow to make a scene.
