Something I have never seen before
Why is that so hard to understand?
Damn people, slow down , stop and smell the flowers, enjoy life, get over being left lane *****.
Lighten up Nancy, I'm not a Dick, I don't camp out in the left lane. I've passed people on the left, I've passed people on the right, if people are doing something totally legal , like driving the speed limit on a road, I don't care what lane they drive in. I don't let it bother me. I just brought up the point about what it does to people to even mention left lane drivers. Alot of people seem to have severe road rage/anger issues over the left lane. Take a valium, chill out, if people get that stressed over a non-issue they shouldn't be on the road. All the lanes are for all of the people.
Take the MSF course, one of the things they stress is don't ride when angry, don't ride when stressed. When riding, don't let things get you angry or stressed.

Are you the official spokesperson of the forum? Have you taken a poll to find out if "most of the people on this forum think I'm a dick???"
Like I said, I don't camp out in the left lane, I don't block traffic. I drive and ride depending on the conditions, flow of traffic, stuff happening around me. The only point I was trying to make is the fact that alot of people have anger issues over something so stupid as to where other people drive on the road.
Lighten up, do yoga, take a Xanax or something. With all of the stupid **** going on in this world today where and how someone drives ought to be the least of your worries.
It's legal here with no stipulation on whether you ought or not.
Yes. The guy who posts up in the left lane, doing 8 over the posted speed limit, and will not move right to allow a faster vehicle to pass is a dick. If you speed up to block a pass, you're a double dick. When I move back behind you, and you then slow back down to the 8 over you were doing previously, you're a double douchebag dick. If you're doing all this in a BMW car, you're the worst kind of self-important double douchebag dick. Not angry, just pointing out who's the dick.
If I'm in a hurry, let me by you, and I wont' slow you down in the slightest. You get home when you want to, and so do I. It's a win-win, and there's absolutely NO reason for you to plant yourself in the left lane, unless you're just a controlling douche. If you block me, forcing me to slow down to match your speed, you're still getting home on your schedule, but I'm being delayed.
I always always let the rabbits go past. I love to follow someone who's doing 10 to 15 over the posted speed. They can help clear out the slow moving traffic in the left lane, and they also might draw out the staties before I get there.
When I see someone in a huge hurry..... say doing 15 to 20 over, I try to assume there's an emergency, and they're trying to get to a hospital, or to aid a friend in trouble. The rest of us are not traffic cops, and do not have the authority to dictate speed limits or traffic flow. Make room for the other guy in the same way that you'd want to be treated.

We're there for the weekend. One of my brothers is working on his motorcycle, he has his carb torn apart, stuff everywhere. In mere seconds, my 4 year old brother walks over, picks up a cup which I guess he thought was water, and takes a drink. It was kerosene. The little guy immediately starts screaming. As soon as my dad realizes what's happened, he puts my bro in the car and speeds off, the hospital is a half hour away.
No sooner does dad get off the dirt road and on to a 2 lane county road, there's some in a car in front of him doing around 35, and the guy will not let him pass. My dad is laying on the horn, flashing the lights, weaving back and forth, doing everything he can to get past this butthole. Nope, the guys is not letting him by.
For about 4-5 miles this goes on, while my little brother his screaming at the top of his lungs, and my dad doesn't know if he's going to live or die or what. My dad said the thought crossed his mind to push right up to the guy's bumper and push him. Finally the road comes to an intersection and opens up to a double lane.
My dad had some guns back at the cabin, his favorite was his S&W .357 Magnum. To this day he swears if he'd had it in the car with him that day, he'd have used it.
I still think of that situation when someone is hauling A coming up behind me, and I make sure they have a clear path. Unless you're carrying a badge, it's not your right or duty to play traffic cop. You have no idea what's going on.
I've driven well over 1M miles and seen lots of bad behavior on the road, but I must say that self-righteous lane blockers made me the maddest.
BTW, my brother was OK. Nowadays at gatherings when I see him I'll ask him what he's drinking, & does he want a shot of kero.
