I'm just talking in general. Whether in the garage, parking before shutting down, or sitting in heavy traffic.

I find a simple forward/backward rock with clutch disengaged makes a hard-to-find neutral infinitely easier to find.

Just blip the throttle and pull up from 1st to neutral on the rpm downslope. No problem.

Ok, I'm used to lane splitting, I don't sit in traffic. At a stop light, bike should be in 1st gear..for safety.

Thats all good and well...if your sittin first at the light or in a traffic jam. Surrounded by cars not so good. You aint going nowhere till everybody else does. How long you think you can hold that clutch in?

Your clutch cable hasn't snapped while waiting at a redlight yet, now has it? Are you in for an education...especially if you " must" rev your bike unnecessarily at every stop sign/ redlight. Can you spell "wheelie into an active intersection?"
I thought you could.
Once you get a car or two behind you, snick it into neutral.

With the new hydraulic clutch on my '14 Ultra, my left forearm looks more like a thigh than it does an arm!

If your clutch is adjusted correctly you might want to consider an adjustable clutch lever. I recommend Oberons.
I also found that my gearbox works better overall using Redline Shockproof.

Don't have trouble finding neutral...Reverse is a bitch, though.
