A weekend to remember
The weekend started at 5:00 on Saturday morning. Last week I bought my first Harley, a 2002 Black Heritage on Ebay. So My wife and I started out early to West Palm , 10 hours away, pulling my trailor. On the way I met Tropical Storm Berry. Which added to the fun.The wind was whipping the trailor and the pic-up. One minute I was getting pelted with "love bugs", and the next it was rain, washing them off. Anyway, I got the bike, I rode it and felt like I was living a dream. I was so excited , I almost ran overa law officer as I was leaving. I looked straight at him and didn't see his car and just pulled out. We were both stopped at a stop sign. So he's looking at me like I'm nuts and walks up to the door of my truck and says are you blind! I appoligized , and told him I think Ihave lost my mind. Then He ask me who's drinking the beer. My wife handed it to him and told him " it's Sam's Cola". He got a laugh out of us and escorted us out of the area. Glad he had a since of humer. Got back and the rain had just stopped at home, So I took it out and spashed through the puddels. I'm going to love this.

Congratulations. Welcome to the Harley Fun. Yesterday I rode to Neah Bay, NW USA. Snow capped mountains, valleys, every shade of green, forrests, rivers, lakes, lots of twistys, and an eagle, not to mention the smells, and comfort of a Harley.

NW Washington has some great riding country--especially now that the weather turns warm and mostly dry. Had a spectacular ride Saturday through some drop dead gorgeous country. Gotta remember to pack a camera next time.
