Hello,
I just have a few questions. I am wanting to buy a Harley, but I am getting married soon and trying to buy a new house. So if I bought one it would have to be a reasonable price. So does any one know how to get ahold of a repo, or bank auction, police auction, etc? I live in Indiana, and have been tryin to search the web, but cannot find anything. please help. thanks.
Don't know about the auction route, but springtime is the worst time to buy a bike. The market is a little tighter and prices are a little more firm. If you aren't in a hurry, wait until late summer or fall. The 2008 HD's come out mid July so there might be some deals to be found on 07's or trade ins. Sorry, probably not much help.
Oldgeezer's right. Be patient and wait. Keep on lookin though, you never know what might pop up. Winter is usually the best time to buy. What do you have in mind??
I was thinkin along the lines of a street glide, road king..something my wife and i can hop on and be comfortable for awhile, and still have some more for hp mods!
What are you looking for? I have a 04 Road King Custom For Sale but It may not be what you are looking for. I've priced it very reasonable at $14,500 and I live in Indiana. Bike has 19,000+ miles. This bike will run and has not given me a minutes worth of problems. PM me if you are interested.

This engine build was done prior to taking delivery of new bike. All work performed by Eagle Harley Davidson in Lafayette, IN. They are well known for their engine upgrades. Engine upgrades were made to produce additional low end torque for two up riding and not for drag racing.
Bike is shown with HD Sundowner Seat, Detachable Backrest, Detachable Luggage Rack and Rear Passenger Floorboards. These items are not included with bike. Rear Passenger Floor Boards will be replaced with original Road King Custom Foot Pegs.

THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL BIKE, BUT IT IS A LITTLE MUCH FOR ME. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF GREAT BIKES HERE I CAN GET IF I HAD THAT FAT CASH. I THINK IF I CANNOT FIND AN AUCTION OR REPO, I AM GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT. IF ANY ONE KNOWS OF ANY REPOS OR HOW TO GET AHOLD OF SOME INFO ON THAT LET ME KNOW. THANKS.
Depends on how much you want to spend?
I've picked up a few bikes from insurance auctions(either direct or through a 3rd party). The latest is an EGC. Still a lot of money(think more than $5k, maybe less than $10k) but a lot less than buying a new one.
If you want a site to check out the insurance auctions send me a message.
Be really cautious when buying a wrecked bike. Sometimes hidden damage can add up and make it cost more than a clean title bike in the end.
