Default 2012 Ultra Classic.
Today I bough a used Ultra with 19,000 miles on it. The bike is pristine and I'm excited to own it. This is my first 103 and I'd like any advice/experience you may have with the motor. Thanks! Much Peace!

Thanks and I will. It was a bit of a strain for me to buy it with 19k on it. Never have bought a used bike before.

Got my 12 ultra 2years ago just had to get it dynoed was to lean went from 68 to 75hp
running great just did a cam gonna tune again over 20k since I got it love it

Congrats on the new bike great choice. Just keep good fluids in it and enjoy. I know you see a lot of posts from guys with problems and questions including myself these forums are great for that and everyone here is more than helpful I do believe the 2012 has most of the bugs worked out so ride and enjoy

I picked up a '14 Slim last year with the 103. I love it. Pulls good, runs smooth, has enough gumption for me... Biggest HD motor I've ever owned. I like it a bunch!

It's a very good engine. Maintain it well and you can get 100,000 trouble free miles from it.
Do you mind me asking what you paid for it? I have a 2012 also and I'm thinking of buying a 2017 with the new M8 engine. I'm wondering what I might be able to sell it for. Thanks.

I have a 12 Ultra, one strong bike. Did 650 in one day, never missed a beat.
As stated above, ride and enjoy.
