Blue loc tite question

Default Blue loc tite question
I used a dab of blue Loctite on my highway pegs and my seat screw. But when putting the pegs on I had to remove them and re-adjust the position several times. Same with the seat being swapped back and forth when my ol' lady rides with me. My question is do I need to re-apply Loctite each time I remove the bolts or screws or is it once and done?

Yes, you need to re apply it each time. You have broken the bond when you removed it.

Yes you always reapply as mentioned above. A little goes a long way.

When adding something like highway pegs, I put them on without lock tight, take a short ride, make any adjustments needed, then use lock tight.

If I have to move them later, clean the threads and reapply.

All others are inferior

I wouldn't bother Loctiting the seat bolt. Especially if you are swapping seats often....

Loctite doesn't dry because it comes in contact with air . So if you still see it on the treads I would just retighten it .
