A buddy and I are are heading to West Virginia for a 5 day ride(no wives).
New river gorge is on our list , but nothing else.
Any suggestions????

Make sure to get to the river under the bridge, a fun ride. Maybe take a ride to Snowshoe ski resort. I ride through the area quite a bit and it is all good. Don't speed as the LEO like handing out tickets. Hinton has a very cool Dairy Queen that sits on the bank of a river.

Route 33 east to BRP north to route 50 west back to Ind.

Route 60 east to BRP south to Tail of Dragon back to Ind. ( sweet ride )

It's very easy for me to get side tracked on both of these

Its tough to pick down there. If you make it to the northern end of the state watch the oilfield traffic. 50 can be a huge mess but is a nice ride. Blue ridge parkway is in wva. The other dragon isnt too far out of the bottom of the state either

The actual BRP does not go thru WV.

I knew a guy who went to reds angels in clarksburg and pulled money out of the atm. His wife found it on his statement and he was out for about a month. Had another guy who pocket dialed his wife while he was getting whipped at little vegas. Those were the days.

US 250 just south of Elkins, WV is a nice ride as well. It goes through Monongahela National Forrest and leads to the BRP at Waynesboro, VA.

While your at the New River gorge,if you hear some plunking coming from a banjo,high tail it out of there.
