I have this ignition switch on my 1996 Heritage. I took it apart to clean it and now am having trouble putting it back together.
Is there a diagram anyone knows of that shows how this thing goes together? I've googled it and not found a diagram for the switch, found wiring diagrams but none of the actual switch.
I'm almost there, just not sure where to locate the little metal tabs and small springs before putting the snap ring on to button it all back up.
I am curious if anyone has upgraded from the 3 spade ignition switch to the newer sealed ignition switch. The newer ignition switch is 2 wires which has me believe it grounds to the frame and has 2 hot leads. Also the wires are smaller gauge which hints to the idea there is a solenoid somewhere in the line
