Changing the fluid and found two pieces of metal on the magnet (not the dime). What does it look like? Serious?

I don't know what year or model bike you have, but it looks like one of the locking tabs for the inner primary bolts on Reaper (2005 Night Train).

Number 17 in this diagram:

Cheers!

Maybe your spring washer from your clutch basket nut? Not too many other washers in that primary!

Definitely not normal. Earlier sportsters had a thing with one of the clutch discs that had a wavy spring plate coming apart, but that ain't it.

If it were me, I'd be into it.

It looks to me like you need to pull your outer primary cover off quick smart and find out what's going on in there. Pick up an outer primary gasket from the dealer too.

I'm missing a sock. Did you find anything like that in there?

I don't see anything inside and nothing in the book. I'm wondering if it's not a separate washer but part of something like a bearing?

If it's a washer there might be a nut or bolt still laying around in there somewhere. And it sure DOES look like a washer.
