Default 2014 streetglide
I am looking at a 2014 streeglide. What are the common issues that I should check for?

Bike only has about 2000 miles.

Should be able to get for a decent price. What mods are on her ? What mods are you looking to do ?
I've had no problems with mine.. Bought used with 2200 also.

One of the issues is that people call them streeglides, when they're actually Street Glides.

I did not have my 14 Street Glide long. Only issue I had with her was the shifter stripped out on me around 4500 miles. It is a pretty well know issue with the touring models. Just make sure to keep in tightened up.

Clutch recall a couple of times and the neck bearings were loose around 2000. Check the VIN on the Harley website and make sure that all the recall stuff is done. Other than that I haven't had any issues. Keep the fluids changed and get a service manual so you know what all to check during the difference service intervals.

Keep an ear out for transmission troubles because a lot of 6 speed transmissions have gone kaput because of the cheap as dirt bearings.

Put 18,000 miles in 8 months on my '14 SGS. No issues. Did have a couple minor recalls.

I haven't heard of any "common" issues! Buy it if you want a SG.

Mine has about 30k miles on it with no problems except a fried clutch at 25k miles, which was kind of strange.

Chrome lowers, back rest, luggage rack, slip ons, abs, boom audio. What would you consider decent price?

I put 36,000 miles on mine in three years. I completed all recalls and maintenance. Very please with it.
