Does anyone know where one can find a kick starter for the new 6 speed 96ci bikes? I looked around a bunch of places and can only find for the TC88 5 speed or older.
I always heard the electronics wouldn't work with a kick starter on the newer bikes as you can't kick it hard enough to convince the computer that the engine is running fast enough to fire the plugs.... Something about it needing to see 2 rotations before it would start the spark flowing.
Did the kick starter for the TC88 also include some kind of electronic mods? I've heard there is one available, but they don't recommend it as it can cause the jackshaft to kick back (something like that - I'm not a mechanic).
