Hi , I'm a new member who is new to working on Ultima engines-El Bruto . I'm trying to find out the cause of a bent push rod on a 2007 motor. They are adjustable type.

 

Improper pushrod adjustment and/or over-revving the engine may have resulted in the valve head making contact with the piston. Fortunately, these components are easily accessed and replaced on most Harley Davidson engines. The proper procedures will be illustrated and explained in your Harley Davidson Service Manual.

What cam grind are you using?
