A guy here at work bought a Big Dog for ....what, 26-28k?

Kept it a year, probably had 1000 miles on it, and sold it for 18K.

I'd say, that's a purty big hit....

Everyone repeat after me.

A Harley is a motor vehicle and not an investment. It is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I know a guy trying to sell his 06 Deluxe for $20,500 on consignment at the dealer. It has been there for quite some time and will probably be there for even longer when you can buy new ones for $18,000.

I guess that's why I bought a used 02 Wide Glide for $10,500.00. I can ride this baby for a few years and still make money on it as long as I don't put too much back into it.

Sucks though, I feel for ya. I would keep them if I were you. They won't lose much more than they have.
