Squeak front engine

On side when running squeaks, but upright doesn’t....hit a bump in road get a chirp...put pressure on primary seem to go away or at least diminish....any ideas

Year? Bike? Engine? Check your primary chain for travel. I believe it’s supposed to be 5/8ths.

Check your exhaust hanger/brackets. Put a little lubricant in the rubber support.

Found it...was the torsion bar that runs over top of the front cylinder....was dry need lubrication....thanks

I know this is an old thread but what type lube is recommended for the top engine stabilizer? I am 1600 miles from home and I developed a squeak that I hope is it.

Give it a drop of oil or a squirt of WD40
