I can't say I am tough, my any means....but I do consider myself respectful. When we come home late or leave early in the morning (we have really close neighbours)...we are very aware and take precautions not to start a ruckus. A few of our neighbours are elderly and a few have small children, the rest are working smucks like the rest of us. We are as quiet as we can possibly be. Our neighburs have even commented and have told us how they appreciate us not reving up our bikes when we leave. They can hear us, but they can tell we are being quite considerate.
If you find the need to rev your bike just to spite your neighbour is, then you are being a totaljerk as far as I'm concerned. You are just asking for trouble and drama.Don't act soooo surprisedwhen you get what you ask for.

Of course you're not tough - yer a girl! JUST KIDDING!!!
I have to agree with what you've said here. I've got all kinds in my neighborhood too and they like me and my bike and REALLY love that I'll coast it even with the engine off if I can. (Downhill TO my garage but uphill FROM.) They know I'm respecting their lives and them. It works great where I live. All the kids wave and half the parents as well.
So I guess a few final long raps of the engine just before ya shift it to neutral while ya open the garage door at 2:30AM isn't polite. And I suppose leaving the CD player on full blast playin Bob Seger then throwin your last beer bottle at the neighbors and wall and teasing their dogis over the top too, huh?
Now I was gonna say to tell her, ill try not to rev my pipes loud when i pass your house anymore, you know, kill her with kindness. But rage here, he has done stepped it up a notch, I would do what he said. But you have to act serious when you say it or it just wont work....
I do love firey women

I i were you, if she comes up to you and bitches at you again....give her a little a wink and tell her how sexy she looks all angry and sh*t....really freak her out.
Yesterday one of my neighbors got mad because of my loud pipes, I drove in my driveway and she walks up to me and said " All you bikers think your so tuff" and think you do not have to abide the laws of the land, she walks off and I stand there stund but did not say a word. I admit I rev my bike when I pass here house because I know it bothers her. Shes a real be-atch
So be honest, do you think your a tuff guy because you drive a bike/Harley? I must admit when I stradel my bike I do get an instant feeling of power! However, I treat people the same as I want to be treated or the same as they treat me. Give me crap I'll give it right back.
So my answer to my question is Yes I feel tuff but do not act like a fool or treat people with disrespect.
Nope. I ride to work a lot. Leave at a little after five in the morning. Shhhhhhhhhhh everybody is sleeping in the neighborhood. If I woke up my wife there would be hell to pay. Less throttle is better throttle. I am to damn old to think I am a tough guy with orwithout trying to prove it.
