Its a new bike, everyone has insurance, the insurance will bring it to the dealer. You only want MoCo parts...

I got rearended last year by a car while I was moving. I got clobbered but there were no surprises.. the bike was a loss...

One of many reasons I don't do open group rides. I have a handful of friends who's riding abilities are at level I'm comfortable with. Everyone else on two wheels gets as much room as I give the 4 wheeled tards.

That's what I was thinking I would definitely want checked. Rear wheel bearings and swingarm bearings as well as the alignment.

I hear you... I usually only like to ride 4 deep. The guy who hit me I've been riding with for 10 years. He was following too close and for that split second he probably wasn't paying attention.

Sorry about your misfortune. Hey, there's a guy on the forums that goes by the name of Cowboy Rob. He may not be able to help you with your bike but he could probably help with the guy that hit you.

Group rides with strangers are an accident waiting to happen. I love seeing idiots ride parallel not sufficiently staggered admiring themselves thinking how cool they look I personally won't ride anywhere close to a stranger i have no experience with. Try single file 2-3 second rule in line offset thats how you ride in a group.
