Another vote for Warm n Safe (also branded as first gear) I have their jacket liner and glove liners. I have a pair of Harley heated gloves I got a few years ago due to a warranty issue with my old gloves but the cuffs barely fit over the sleeve of my jacket. I use a wireless controller and have it mounted to my handlebars. The regular one always fell off my pants and I could not see it to adjust the heat when I wanted to

I used to wear just a t-shirt under my jacket liner, but on multiple long days I actually got burns on my arms so I now wear a long sleeve shirt.

Regarding pants, I ride a Sportster with no wind protection. After a few hours in 20-25 degree weather my legs do get cold even with overpants on so I have an old set of Gerbings Extreme Element heated pants that I wear

Lastly, regarding Gerbings be careful as they have gone through several buyouts. Old Gerbing stuff was great and had a lifetime warranty, then they sold and the lifetime warranty was discontinued and they no longer honored the old lifetime warranty as it was technically a different company. I believe they're in their third iteration now but I have lost track so I suggest doing research on their website regarding warranty before buying

can't go wrong with Gerbing or Warm & Safe electric gear.

The original owners now offer products under Gordon's. That's the company to shop. I'd recommend any company that offers a dual source product. That is a 12 V that both hooks to the bike & can be used with small lithium ion batteries. That makes whatever you purchase move versatile.

Thank you for sharing the info.

Warm and Safe looks nice. I like the heated layer shirt opposed to the jacket line. However, they don't have a matching pant, just a pant liner.

Not sure, I'm leaning toward the HD One - Touch. Boardtracker HD has them for a good deal too.

I second the statement of Gordon's Clothing. He was the original MFG of Gerbing's I believe.

Just ordered the complete set of Harley One Touch heated gear from Boardtracker. Saved a nice amount of money ordering from them but still a large investment. I plan on doing a nice amount of riding this winter so hopefully it pays off. I'll post my impressions after some use.

I'm an average build. I ordered medium jacket/pant liners and large foot/hand liners

It may seem like a large investment, but many here (including me) have found that heated gear transforms cold weather riding from "barely endurable" to "not bad at all".

And if it extends your riding season by a few months, isn't it worth it?

Easily worth double the expense if it can extend my riding season!

I recently bought these rechargeable battery heated gloves from Amazon:
Amazon Amazon

I have no complaints with their warmth - I wore them last weekend while it was in the low 40s and my hands were very comfortable with the heat on low. They are a bit bulky though, kind of like ski gloves. I am sure they will work down past very cold temperatures I wouldn't ride in!

Default Heated Gear

I suppose any heated gear is better than none at all, but below 32˚, there may be ice on the road without any salt. The salt by itself can be just as slippery as ice when it is thick.
