.........today. A 100 miler on the '18 Ultra.
First ride since the last one over a month ago.
Felt good to get out in the sunshine and see the 'bleak' landscape.
Calling for a FOOT o' snow this weekend.............
Got one in today myself. Snuck away from work for about an hour and a half over lunch and cruised some rural back roads here in SE VA. Sunny and about 67, not gonna gonna get out of tha 40’s tomorrow.

I'd been nursing a cold/cough but just couldn't resist a ride due to the pending
'Armageddon' type snowfall they keep predicting. (hope they're wrong)
Next it will be salt/sand all over the road with damp salty pavement.
Got a 100 miler in myself today. High of 68 but dropping down into the low 30's tonight. Yea, I know it's Florida but at my age anything below 60 is pre-snow weather..... Im just not that tough guy anymore.
After being "grounded" from driving for 5 weeks due to surgery, I finally got the "nod" from the DOC to drive last week!
SO, since it was a dry, sunny-but-cold day, I finally go to ride......my Zero turn mower around the yard for a couple of hours to chop and blow leaves off of the front yard.
I was bundled up in my insulated coveralls, two pairs of socks with a fleece hood under a full face snowmobile helmet!
Looked like a total nerd but I was warm enough to get what I had to do done
Yesterday was my birthday. It snowed a bit in the morning. By the time I got off work the roads were dry. I hadn't rode in awhile so I decided what the hell. I went for a brisk 1.9 mile ride.Tomorrow the bikes go into storage. 😒
