It's a fricken' disease that never ends! I have at least 4 things waiting in the garage to install, maybe today, meanwhile I still keep browsing for more stuff. Actually thinking about hitting my dealer this afternoon for a chrome air cleaner bolt to replace the ugly stainless one - how's that for diseased?

It’s cuz it’s an ‘18, still too new. I messed with my ‘04 for a year maybe, then left it for the next 13 years (except maintenance and mild repairs). Keep messing with it until that’s out of your system. It’s part of the fun!

If it's not broken, I leave it alone. RIP's latest car is lucky to get a oil change. She managed to not be watching and caught the edge of the garage door frame. It pushed in the front fender a tad and then hooked the plastic bumper. I had a hand full of plastic clips and pickings it up.

Told her no problem, I will fix it. Dozen pop rivits and good as new.

Hate to see what 15-20 mph will do. But good enough. Now a few months later, with a few thousand miles, the windshield is cracked.

Anyone know if you hit your insurance for glass will you loose your safe driveing discount.
It has the two cameras on it and it has to be calibrated by the dealership.

My bike's 30 years old so I started taking it apart. There's lots of things that need some attention. I'm getting into areas I've never had a reason to know about until now. I'm up for the challenge and not afraid in the least bit so yeah I'm satisfied.

I've only had my bike a couple of months. I've made quite a few changes already, but i still have some things i want to do.
I'm very happy with the power from my Stage 1 110, so have no immediate plans to mess with the engine.
I'm almost done with cosmetics. Just waiting for the new fairing to arrive, and i need to decide on new footpegs and hand grips, and smoked lenses for the rear turn signals. Still need to add crash bars. I like the stock shocks on the FXDLS but will probably upgrade to longer rears and inverted front as finances allow.

I think, if the question is asked in 12 months time, i might almost be done.

After every change/upgrade the wifey always says "That's it, right?". And I always say "Nope!". Even if I don't have a clue as to what the next project is. Darn parts just keep showing up on our doorstep.. She's a keeper.. The wife that is.. Cheers!!

When ever I build a bike I usually start with a list of wants and as I go though the build it gets whittled down to Needs...stick to a budget and a build sheet...and have a plan, thats the big one and stick to it.
You can spend a lot of money and time if you don't have a plan and just throw parts at it...know a head of time what you want your bike to look like or perform like before spending money...

No! I made a list of everything that I wanted to get done on the bike and it's not there yet but soon it will, once it's finally there I think it would be safe to say that i'll be satisfied... but then again you never know lol

Any of you ever get to the point of "that's enough" and stick to it or are you on a never ending quest like me?
Motorcycle riders are tinkerers. HD knows this all too well. As this forum shows, there's lots of riders that love to mess with their bikes. Sometimes, to the detriment of their financial health, but never-the-less, they still mess with them.
