Maybe someone sugar'd your gas tank? That could cause running issues for sure, and the gas cap is there for everyone to see.

Ok the bike was picked up this morning
Its going to Harley and I hope for news this week
I also hope the damage is minimal
there is a lot to be said for investing in key opening gas and oil tank caps
i know it’s a pity to have to worry about that but better to be safe in that case
it’s a worry you don’t need when you karl somewhere you don’t know
anyway thanks for all your comments and advice I’ll post whenever I hear back from the garage

Usually it's very pissed off girl friends or very jealous gangs and such. Did you think there is any way you deserved this.
Proper insurance with the right options clicked should pay for vandalism.

I live in Nice, France
whild the name sounds nice, its actually a city with some bad elements
where I work and park is in an area with 2 bars and people are drinking all day there
also I had noticed the oil cap popped up so I was suspicious
girlfriends I wish

15 years married

and honestly I have not had any arguments or disagreements in recent memory
I suppose yes it could be just a jealous ******* or a drunk who thinks it’s funny
either way just be careful where you park or at least not far from view
hopefully I have some news in a day or so
