The thundermax tuner voided my warranty, yes I'll pay for the estimate and figure out if my usual indy will or apply the estimate to the finish up! I ride but been shifting for years, maybe my aim pressure plate was to much and slip of oem clutch would compensate for slight stage power upgrade, live and learn, my wife wasn't happy. But it's one of my bad habits!
Technically the warranty (powertrain anyway) was voided with the tuner, but I’ve got 30k on mine with a CR460 cam, along with the AC, Street Cannons, and PV tuner, and there’s been no problems. Most of the time I’m pretty conservative, but will sometimes hammer down - just because. Sounds like yours was a ‘luck of the draw’ scenario, but if you could prove the gear was improperly manufactured there’d be something to argue about.
Luck with your fix, I wouldn’t want to confront my wife with this either. : )
I would be calling HD for Goodwill on their behalf. Stage 1 on a 107 M8 is not going to fail the transmission. That is a defect in materials from the manufacturer.

I'm sure it was the increased torque from the Thunder Max tuner that destroyed the transmission.

Where have you been? The EPA decree is that the power train warranty is voided with use of a non EPA compliant tuner. Has nothing to do with what caused the issue.
