Planning a road trip from Vermont to Junction City, KS first week of August where the third night of the trip should find us staying around St. Louis. Probably grab a hotel off I-70 in that area. Any issues with motorcycle thefts at hotels or any should avoid hotels/exits?

I would suggest going around St. Louis using 270 and if you want to stop do so in St. Charles, Mo or St. Peters. Crime should be less and probably better hotels. Depending on the time you hit the St. Louis since traffic starts getting heavy going west about 2:30pm

We got a couple new hotels out here in wentzville. Also there is a new embassy suites right by the streets of st. Charles
