In Indiana now, decided to stay in St. Charles. Will be hitting up St. Charles HD for a replacement Ciro Passenger cup holder.....wife lost the top ring and then the basket with her water bottle blew off somewhere on I70!! I understand from the parts guy they are having bike night tonight.....free dinner....win-win for me!
I'm a little curious how St. Louis is nowadays as I refused to go there again after visiting in the early 90s. It was a pure war zone when I was there. Bullet proof glass at the local fast food place, concrete slabs in the middle of the streets to slow down drug dealers, etc. I was young, and it blew my mind. How is North St. Louis? That's where I stayed and it was literally worse than Detroit. My aunt (who I hated) was basically a slum lord there. She made lotta money on Section 8 housing subsidies.
I do recall that the area around Washington University was nice in a small college town kinda way. But downtown and North St. Louis was like Mogadushi.
Maybe it has changed but I've avoided that city. Growing up in the Greater Seattle area I had this thought that all cities were like the PNW lol. Boy, did St. Louis open my eyes. I remember saying to my relatives there, "How the @#$@$2 can you live here?" Curious how much it has changed.
And yea, East St. Louis is basically a third world country.

Their bike nights are fairly large. I heard it's a mess after the fire out there. I heard the employees are fighting with each other because they are operating the Indian and Honda stuff out of the Harley side. I don't go there because they buildt some of the buildings non-Union
