Unfortunately they're not made in USA anymore if they're even made at all. Have to get White's, Nick's, or Frank's to get a similar pair of boots now.

Gotta get some of those. I may actually make it to 5'10" tall.

There is a line between worn out and broke in,

Again showing what you do not know. My 20 year old RedWing Harness boots have been factory resoled twice now. I wear the inserts that are heated up in an oven, then placed into boots and then worn to fit to my feet.

The inner soles are still fine. The outside leather is showing age after 20 years of usage in all types of weather.

The shoes without replacement soles will not last me a year. I am looking for new riding boots now, no molded soles for me.

I told the lady at the dealership, no laces, no buckles, no big metal HD badges...just leather boots that will protect my ankles and a zipper

these were exactly what I wanted

I just got these Wolverine Floorhand LX for $80 bucks from amazon. I didn’t wear them riding yet, but they are comfortable to walk in . And they don’t weigh a ton .

Again my point is, it is a 20 year old boot. Resold the soles and the rest is still 20 years old.

Boots have come a long way,I'll take injection molding comfort over, losing the ability to sew new soles on.

Either way you are wearing the soles out on a year. I'll just go buy a new pair if needed.

I get custom orthotics every year. Give that a shot if you can afford it.

I was wearing a pair of boots with a molded sole at work.
The sole self-destructed one day, dropping large chunks as I walked, not old at all.
Had to walk over a mile back to base like that, embarrassing.
Stayed with leather soled "Sebagos" after that, resoled multiple times.
The quality was first rate then, now, who knows?
Did a lot'o walking.
