When I bought my bike it had the following Willie G stuff:
Grips, Brake Pad, Shifter Pegs, Floor Boards, and Passenger Boards.
My wife just ordered The AC trim and Derby Cover so I guess Im going to be one of those Willie G skull guys... Im definitely looking forward to 86ing the football cover for the small trim cover.
Mine had all that except the grips when I bought it. I left it on for a few months, thought I might eventually like it. I’m just not in to skulls I guess. I don’t hate them, just not my personality. I found some Nostalgia collection replacements in the classifieds here and sold my stuff to a guy for about 50% off retail. Win / win.
I have the following Willie G collection parts in black on my 18' RKS
Highway pegs
Rider Floorboards
Passenger Floorboards
Air Cleaner Cover
Grips
Front Axel Caps
Timing Cover
Derby Cover
Shifter Pegs
Rear Brake Pedal
For me it's not all about the skulls. It's about the man Willie G Davidson himself and his dedication to our passion. Both in design and lifestyle. The man is a living legend.
The PO of my '06 Fatboy pretty much decked it out in Willie G. Skulls, even the gas caps.
I don't mind, they're as functional as that which they replaced and look alright to me.
There was a lot of Willie G stuff on my Ultra when I bought it. The fender lights are even Willie G, so I guess the previous owner really liked the look. I kind of like the Willie G stuff.
Surprised dickey hasn't chimed in with his fondness of Willie G add on's
im with tdoggz on this one. I like the Willi G stuff I have been slowly getting it for my softail. and I agree its not completely about the skulls I like the look of the Wille G logo but its more about who he was and what he did for the brand.
