The horn shakes on it's rubber mount , it's possible that the horn wire has rubbed through near the upper engine mount bracket

Recently found my horn was intermittently working (when I could find the button). One of the wires had broken and was flopping around. Didn't short anything though.

I’ve sprayed WD40 in my horn a coulple of times over the years. Sounded crisp and strong (for a Brit horn) going strong.

We have a WINNER! Turned out the horn wire insulation rubbed through at the horn bracket; a little electrical tape & a zip tie & all is good!
Thank you all for your help! Over the winter (haha!) I will replace the wire for a more permanent fix.
