I am looking to buy an old FLH and restore back to glory. I have a '71 in my sights but don't know what year(s) they put the AMF badge on either the tank or air cleaner or bags...or anywhere on the bike? Not concerned that it is an AMF year built bike, but i know at some point AMF starting putting their name on the bike. I want to restore all the way and don't want AMF displayed on the bike when done. So need to buy one that did not display AMF anywhere on the bike when new. Anyone know the answer?
Thanks!
So you want an old FLH, regardless that AMF built it, but just don't want a modeled year where AMF actually stuck their name on the bike in order for you to be able to restore it back to it's ORIGINAL condition without AMF's name visible?
