I dunno what to think about the Livewire, other than technology is kicking in quickly. It's going to happen.
Soon we'll have space scooters and get to run the orbit, or a two week transport trip to the moon via a space shuttle, unload, and scoot the surface with your new 'Evil Orbitor'...*chuckles

Only a very small number of dealers are getting livewire. closest one to me is 130 miles...the local dealer here says they opted out as they have to do too many things...they have to build a small setup to house charging stations outside the dealer, ...have staff undergo training , service reps have to be sent off for training as well...not all dealers will be able to service livewire..only the ones selling them..from the sales guy I kind of pick up that not a lot of dealers want to be involved as its a royal pain in the *** and they dont anticipate much in the way of sales..
Not being a wise guy but does anybody really care?
Meh. the RUBs will be standin' in long lines with their checkbook in hand to pay $30K plus fees and taxes just so they can walk out to their garage and stare at it.

Doubtful. Honestly based on price alone compared to competitive options, its going to be a huge flop

Kind of the same as you, the closest dealer to me in Indiana selling the Livewire is in Fort Wayne which is 140 miles north of me. I guess there is one in Cincinnati too, which isn't that much closer.
Obviously none of the Indianapolis Dealers (3) are selling them, and from what I've heard, and from talking to them they are in a wait and see mode. All stemming from the capitol outlay required to be a Livewire dealer.

Ya, same as the other models. Except I don't think they will giving any deals on this.
