They Installed the charging station weeks ago at Harley-Davidson of Fort Wayne. I went in and asked the sales manager for my gas card. He asked what I was talking about and I told him if they were giving out free electricity for the Livewire Riders they need to give free gas to the ones that have supported the Moco up to this point. He told me that they'd already sold five of them, I'm waiting to see if this is really true, it's coming from a Salesman!

I doubt the Harley charge stations will be free to use. Even Tesla stopped doing that a while ago now.

This is a good thing. But the attitude probably contributed to buells failure. Though dealer seem like some ***** *** places to me, so guys like us might mean something different.

I am not betting the farm but if you want to see one get there quick.

Not sure why all the talk of charging stations. Someone people with cars are managing. These are not the first electric vehicles.

Spare me this pissing and moaning. If you were doing such a great job, we wouldn't have a doom and gloom thread every other week.

Ya they are lying just to you.

Was at the York production facility on 9/4 for the Steel Toe Boots tour. It was interesting to see every line going ***** to the wall and then then the Livewire line had one bike in process. That's it. They did say that Livewire was limited to metropolitan areas for now but they had a lot more capacity that one at a time on that line. Workers on that line were standing around.

Still vaporware around here. Fine with me. I wanna hear the rumble, feel the vibration, and smell the exhaust!

I think lots of people are at least curious about it, which is a good thing.

I went to Bikes, Blues, and BBQ last weekend and HD had their booth set up with demos for regular models and the Livewire. I got there pretty early on Saturday and there was already a 2 hour wait to ride the Livewires. I rode one and if I had an extra 30 grand for another toy I would get one. No way it could replace my Road King, since a Livewire doesn’t even have the range to ride from my house to Fayetteville for the rally.

Pic of the one I rode:

One of the dealers in Tulsa is supposed to get them, but haven’t been by to see if they actually have one.

If you could buy a bike with similar capabilities from Zero for $12K less, would you still spend $30K on it?
