Kick stand switch...
My Hondas always had a kickstand interlock switch. With the kickstand down, and you put the bike in gear, it shuts off the motor. I’m wondering why Harleys don’t have this. Yeah, I know...it’s something else to go bad, and its only for doofuses,,,,which I am.

They don't have it because if they did, the MoCo would get $3.74 cents less profit, in quantity, for each bike.

My Buddy has a Goldwing.......those things do not have a lock mechanism for the Jiffy Stand like HD's do. If the Goldwing were permitted to roll forward it would fall over. I tell my buddy all the time.....there is another good reason to have a Harley. His plastic **** is always breaking....it's this or it's that. Jesus dude just buy a Harley.
