I still prefer reading real books, magzines, papers....the feel of paper is soothing.

HOG Touring Handbook thing of the past
Just got my 2020 HOG package today and the annual touring handbook was not included. I called HOG to ask what the deal was; "we've discontinued it". Seriously, WTF. Knowing the MoCo I wouldn't be surprised if they were to publish it and sell separately at the Stealerships. Oh **** did I just give them an idea?

...and so is my HOG membership. Both of the wife's and my memberships expired in August and they're still bombarding me nearly daily with e-mails and letters reminding me to re-new. Don't have any interest in doing the HOG scene anymore. Did save all the tour books from 2012 to present. I like them, have one in every vehicle I own except that some of the Harley dealerships in the older ones I have don't even exist anymore.

If I hadnt converted to life member status 27 years ago I doubt Id still be a member. Back then you could, after a certain number of years, convert to life member for a single $250 payment. At the time I was very active in our local chapter so it made a lot of sense. Different times.
