Rampage Wreck
A neighbor was driving down the street at the time and saw my situation and asked if he could help. We got three other neighbors to come over to help out and got the bike down off the loading ramp.
Actually, the only damage was a cracked tail light on the tour pack and a little scuffing on the lid.
I decided I had enough with the rampage. It's a heavy item to move around and setup in the truck.
I went to Tractor Supply and bought an aluminum trailer this afternoon then over to Harbour freight to buy a wheel chock for it.
I'll be listing the Rampage on craigslist.
For those who don't know what a Rampage is, the attached video demonstrates it.
No, that's not me in the video.
curious what caused the straps to fail?
Rotted?
Manufacturing defect?
or just too light from the get go?
at any rate, glad you're OK and bike didn't suffer more than a cracked lens
$3100 looks like

as much as a good used enclosed trailer w/door ramp
and more than an open trailer

I am guessing the wheel chock is steel make sure you put something between the Steel and Aluminum as well as coat the fasteners you mount it with.
