Quote“I personally know riders that wouldn't own a Harley because they know they would be looked at as a stupid buyer”
You actually know someone that said / thinks that ? This is just about the stupidest thing I ever heard or read , those “ riders “ shouldn’t be worried about being looked at as a stupid buyer , just a stupid person ..... WTH
Anybody who's that scared of what other people think, clearly doesn't have the ***** to ride a Harley anyway.
The MoCo doesn't care if they have ***** or not. In fact, they are trying hard to get those without ***** to buy them too, aka FEMALES. A sales is a sale, whether you have ***** or not. Of course, I know that logic is way over your head, so I'm sure you don't understand it.
Let me give you a clue, since you don't have one. That comment by you is representative of the exact mindset that Harley is trying to change, INTERNALLY and Externally. Your old 1960's mentality is not cool anymore, and really hasn't been for a while now. YOU are the one folks are laughing at. The times have changed and you still think it's 1960.

YES, I know MANY that have said that. But one that sticks out in my mind holds so many Long distance and endurance records they'd make you look like a newbie. He is a REAL rider, not a wanna be like you. His name is Greg Rice. You can check him out. OH wait! That would require you to put forth an effort where you might just get some education on a subject. Nevermind, in your case, that WAS a STUPID suggestion on my part.
yes and there stock is down 7% also the dividend is cut from .38 to .02 this thread was about stock price not if they still around. I might be wrong but Dow did around 24% last year . Harley did what last year? Shooting from the hip 10%. How are doing over all this year. What about 5 years. The thread is about HOG stock prices.

Reason: Forgot word
Many even larger companies have suspended dividends for this quarter. There’s a bit of economic distress in case you haven’t noticed. Polaris is down over 5 bucks a share so far today, by the way.
