Street Glide wind shield
So for me the stock windshield looks cool but at 5' 8" it causes a lot of buffeting in my helmet so I ordered the 10 inch long ride Reaper windshield and OMG what a difference I love this thing. Just came back from New Hampshire and it did the job..dosent look as cool but I can ride long without my neck getting the workout of the lifetime. Is it me. did anyone have the same trouble I had with the stock vs. the replacement?

Ah I was planning on asking this since I saw a nice SGS at my local dealer... Im 59.. so Im guessing stock wont work too well.. maybe Ill just keep my Sport Glide. I have it the way that works for me right now. Want more storage and little more comfort on long rides, but not at the cost of starting all over. (For now)

Along with exhaust, probably the first thing people change out on that bike. I went to 11" LRS as soon as I could.

Threw the stock one out, it was friggin' useless, a 10" clearview recurve does the trick for me.

fshift2.... if you still get a little buffeting, do a quick search on the forum....there are couple threads about buffeting. If you do experience a bit of buffeting, place your left arm horizontally across your chest...if the buffeting subsides, you have air flow from under the fairing. If you don't have any buffeting after your new wind screen, cool!!! I find my half helmet give me more issues than my 3/4 does. Although I no longer have the buffeting issue (I had to use the fugly fangs on mine!)
