Hey OldEnuf, No it wasnt a Knuckle, I was mistaken, it was a UL Flathead 74, not Ironhead as stated by a blockhead (me) purchased new in 1947. Here is a picture of one I just found on the web, 1948 Harley Davison UL 74 FlatHead sold at a Mecum Auction. Somewhere I have a pic that shows the engine better but I dont know where now.
