That IMU on your bike does nothing for your stability at low speeds. They are not the same thing. Your IMU is electronics that help tell the ABS and traction control what to do. It saves your butt at high speeds. This is a big heavy weight spinning to physically stabilize the bike at under 3 MPH.
I will agree that Gyro is not a new idea, but Harley is Patenting a different use for an older technology.
