So, if you wanted to contact someone at Harley Davidson about an absolute train wreck of a dealer, who would you contact ? For reference, this dealer is located in Northern Virginia. Harley did send me a survey via e-mail, but this dealer is so completely inept in every facet of the business that I think someone a little higher up the food chain should be aware.
Its not rocket science to figure out how to contact HD Corporate if you know how to type in a computer. Also, if you are going to bash a particular dealer on this or any other media site, , then provide details.

I, purposely, did not name the dealer as I did not think it fair of me to do so. Yes, I might save someone from a bad experience, but the truth is, this particular dealer might be just fine for others. It just wasn't for me. From purchase through the first service, through the second service while they fixed the parts they damaged from the first service, every single step, this dealer dropped the ball in major ways. We are talking some serious mistakes. And I'm not one prone to embellishment.
My goal is not to publicly bash this dealer and while it might be deserved, it does not serve a constructive purpose. A constructive purpose would be to have a rational discussion with someone at Harley that cares about how their dealers are treating customers. Someone who is interested in understanding what mistakes are being made and wants to make things better. And while I'm not saying my experience with this particular dealer is the norm, I'm thinking that it is not all that rare either.
I'm willing to put forth the effort but, my fear is that this anonymous Harley person doesn't exist. I know from experience that these types of people are extraordinarily hard to find in a publicly held company. After all, it's not about the product, it's about the stock price. Doesn't mean I hate the product. I rather like the product. I'm just not fond of all the rest...
Suppose you do get through to someone up the chain at H-D. What would you expect them to do? Were you financially damaged? Was your bike damaged and not made whole? Were your feelings hurt? Do you want H-D to close down the dealership? Do you want someone terminated? What end result would you like to see?
