Arrow Apple Car Play
Does anyone know how to get Apple Car Play on a 2020 FLHXS Street Glide Special?? Does it only worked plugged into the USB port??

I am still playing around with it on my 2020 RG Limited however when I am on the bike my phone is always plugged into the USB in the fairing storage pocket so I am not sure if it has to be plugged for car play . I do know it does not work without my helmet intercom plugged into the bike. I have not had the WHIM installed yet and my understanding is without helmet plugged it it will not work unless you have the WHIM. Currently as I said my phone is plugged into USB and my helmet plugged into the bike and Apple Car Play works great

If it's anything like apple carplay in cars yeah it has to be plugged in to work

yeah I am trying to have it with out the headset. I know I need a mic for SIRI to work and talk on the phone. I might look into the WHIM

you need to install a WHIM, plus a Harley brand wireless headset (Boom Audio 20S Evo) that is paired to the bike and turned on, and a phone plugged into the USB port for Apple Car Play to work.

Wireless Car Play does exist in vehicles. If you don't have one that supports it you can get an adapter to make it wireless.

yes, 2.5 hours labor to install a WHIM on a 2020 Street Glide, I was overcharged.
