Both my front and rear tire are going to be replaced in about 2500 miles. I've been using the OEM dunlops. No troubles at all. I've heard great things about Michelin in general, and I've been seeing good reports on the new Commander III.
Has anyone here had any experience with these. Again, I have no issues with the Dunlops, but if there is a better mousetrap, I'm open.
I'm waiting until the other issues are fully resolved before going that route although that was my plan as well. Too many people having issues at the moment for myself.

What do you want the most out of tires? Grip or miles?
feel and grip are more important, mileage is secondary.....as far as what I call on the bike to do, I've never needed any more grip or performance than the OEMs

I switched from from C2's to C3's awhile back. I have over 4000 miles on mine and no issues at this time. There was a little vibration at certain speeds in the beginning only but when the Indy that I bought them from put in some Ride On, the vibration went away. There has been a time or two in the past where other brands of tires would have a slight vibration and a little Ride On took care of that too. They have also sold a few other sets of the 3's and they said that they hadn't heard any complaints so far.
Have you considered American Elites , put a set on last year and they still look new with almost 7000 miles on them . Road through the mountains in the pouring rain for 4 hrs straight and I loved every second of it .
Thought about Avon Cobras? They were impressive on a softail (fxfbs). Sorry, can't remember your bike.
This is what I run because grip and performing good in the rain are the most important to me.
Ive been extremely happy with the cobras. The ride is much nicer with them then the OEM tires that were on the bike
