Hi, I have a Harley Davidson 2014 fatboy lo. I cannot start the engine as the following error message appear.
B2121: starter output open/BCM malfunction. Does anyone have any idea how I could solve this problem? Thanks
ˇ B2121 - starter output open/BCM malfunction B2123 - starter output shorted low you either have an issue with the starter relay, starter or the wiring associated with them OR the BCM has failed.
The battery would be associated in the wiring as well. Start with the simple stuff first.
Yes, I guess the problem could be that. I bought this motorbike on March. When I bought I tried to start the bike it ran for a few second then nothing happened. Since then I cannot start it again. When I had started repairing I realized the BCM and RCM modules have different number. BCM original American, RCM is European. Is it possible that after the first start the bike automatically prohibit the next start?
It has no security system.
The battery is new.
The engine does not do anything.

Your gonna have to start looking and test things to see.
What have you done so far? Oh and new battery does not always mean a good battery, not often but it has happened.

All lights, oil pump are working. When I press start button there will be this code and the bike do not run.
Thanks for your advices. I try to check the cables and relay first.
